About Me
Kaela Pardo
Founder & Certified Nursing Assistant
I'm a creative problem solver with a warm, approachable nature and a genuine passion for helping others. When I'm not working, you'll often find me exploring estate sales in search of vintage treasures—clothing, decor, and books that tell a story (though I'll admit, most of them end up in my personal collection rather than for resale). My little senior dog is my constant companion, joining me on nearly every adventure.
Caregiving has been woven into the fabric of my life for as long as I can remember. As the eldest daughter and grandchild, I naturally stepped into a nurturing role early on, starting as a nanny before discovering my true calling in healthcare.
I earned my CNA license in 2016 and began my career as a home care aide, where I quickly found my footing in the field. Over the past decade, I've worked across a diverse range of care settings—from senior care and rehabilitation facilities throughout Oregon during critical staffing shortages, to providing compassionate end-of-life care with a non-profit hospice organization during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
These experiences have been invaluable. I've had the privilege of learning from hundreds of skilled caregivers and nurses, and I've developed deep expertise in addressing complex care needs, particularly in dementia care, Parkinson's disease, and hospice support.
In 2025, I founded Magnolia Care with a clear mission: to fill the gaps in senior care by helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort in the place they love most—home. I'm committed to providing personalized, compassionate care that honors each person's unique needs and story.
